Home Office
I got a call from these clients last year - they were expecting baby number two and their study was going to become the nursery, so where to put their home office? They cleverly thought about the large dead space at the end of their hallway. So we designed this desk with storage and shelving above to tie in with the existing interior features, re. panelled cupboard door and end panel to match the internal doors, and a chunky heading on the shelves to match the skirting. It turned out beautifully and clients are really happy.

A Modern Scandinavian Home
This spacious 1904 vicarage in Southern Sweden has been renovated into an airy and modern home. What a stylish transformation.

Greece with Claire Lloyd
The latest Inside Out magazine has a great spread on Australian expat Claire Lloyd, a designer, art director and filmmaker, formerly based in London, now in Greece. I have her first book, Sensual Living, which I can see on the shelf as I sit here typing this and she now has a new book, My Greek Island Home. Lloyd, on a whim, brought a home on the Greek Island of Lesvos and this book, as well as the article above, is a homage to all things white, simple and Greek.

I really love it when my blog becomes a useful tool - it makes it all the worthwhile for me. I received an email last night from a client who had a scroll through my blog ("a treasure trove" they said) and pulled out several images that they were inspired by (as above). It's easy to see the common elements they like and it was handy to have them with me when I met them today.
It was also cool to be reminded of some the images that I have posted from the past - some many great ones!
Comfortable Scandinavian Apartment
Here is a stylish and comfortable Scandinavian apartment that I came across on Facebook today and it was getting a lot of love from all around. It's a great mix of crisp whites, rich rugs, great lights and cool furnishings - another cool Scandi apartment.

Swedish Real Estate
The Swedish really know how know to do real estate! They style and dress the homes they're selling so beautifully, which in itself is an effective selling tool. Here is a great apartment with lots of light and original features as spotted on Nordic Design.
