I like...this Scandinavian apartment by interior designer Daniel Bergman. I especially like the collections and arrangements found throughout the apartment. As for those two side by side Snow dressers by Asplund in the bedroom - yes please.

I like...this relaxing window spot in actress Courteney Cox's home, now featured in the latest Elle Decor magazine. Apparently Courteney wanted to be an architect before she became an actress. Interesting.

The FildeFer Collection for Skitsch.

I like... this tongue-in-cheek outdoor furniture collection by Italian designer, Alessandra Baldereschi. The slim rods of the chairs re-create, as well as giving a nostalgic nod, to plush furniture - it's like taking your comfy armchair outside.

Reclaimed wood bench and dining table from Canvas.

Reclaimed wood mirror. Cute dog.
I like...these cool recycled solid cedar furnishings from Canvas. The solid cedar wood is salvaged from New York City rooftop water tanks, which means they have a great natural aged patina finish. It's always great to see sustainability done so well and so stylishly. Photographs via Canvas.

A New York residence with a Trubridge light in the entry way.

I like...this New York residence designed by architect, Diana Kellogg. The spaces have been made so liveable within the industrial shell. There is a really nice ambience here.
It's always great to see Kiwi designers doing well internationally, especially one as successful as David Trubridge - his light looks great in the entryway.

I like this dining scene from new Melbourne restaurant, Millswyn. Designed by Hecker Guthrie, I like the serene colour palette, the painted timber chairs, tufted banquette seating, its simple lighting - actually, I like all of it! The interior is nordic inspired and demonstrates understated luxe very well. Nice.

I like.. the different designer dining chairs at this table.
This dining area belongs to stylist James Leland Day - located at his Parisian apartment in the 12th arrondissement. Why stress over which designer chairs to get when you can have one of each? This creates more interest in a small space - just as long you keep the palette the same. I also like the bench seat at the wall side of the table with comfy cushions to lean back on. Nice.
To see the rest of this apartment, check out the October 2010 issue of Elle Decoration UK.

'A Field Guide to Typestaches' Poster from Notemaker.

Designed by Tor Weeks.

Close up of Typestaches.

I Like...this cool poster - A Field Guide to Typestaches from Notemaker. Each moustache is a brackets character from different fonts. It is a visual and clever nod to typography.
It reminds me of my brother and my Dad who have moustaches (my father all the time, my brother recently) and to all those who are growing one for Movember.
(Did you try the Pentagram's 'What type are you?' that I mentioned in a previous post? Give it a go and see what type you are...)

I like... the details on this chair. While the shape of the chair doesn't particularly engage with me, I do like that this flea market find has been recovered in linen along with leather covered buttons and piping. Nice. Photograph via Lonny Magazine.

I like...this lovely dining room scene from a guest house based in Hourglass Vineyards in Napa Valley, USA. A good combo of the classics - galvanised Tolix chairs along with the Leran pendant light and Rand rug from Ikea.
