It was great to have Claudia Zinzan's profile on here last week and I was especially impressed by her comments about Father Rabbit - "...and am always searching for things that appeal to Father Rabbit’s aesthetics. It is so helpful to have such a strict philosophy with Father Rabbit, helping to say no to lots of crap out there!" I agree with this observation and have been in thought about the progress for Minty & Co and its philosophy for a while.
So for the meantime enjoy the sale and I'll keep you posted with our progress!

New at Minty & Co - Preloved and Reborn Drawers

Today I am loving the latest additions to the Minty & Co store - these two sets of preloved and reborn drawers.
The large drawers were worse for wear when I found them and they needed some serious TLC. After the restoration, they were refinished in a great donkey brown. These useful drawers would look great in a bedroom or as sideboard for a living/dining area. Take your pick.
Meanwhile the smaller drawers with the cute retro legs have been smarten up in a sophisicated grey to suit any bedroom and any age.
I have used classic satin chrome flat round pulls on both sets of drawers to stylishly finish them off. What do you think?

New at Minty & Co - Preloved and Reborn Dining Chairs

Here is the latest addition to Minty & Co - a set of four preloved and reborn dining chairs. These lovely Scandi-style chairs have been restored, reupholstered and reborn with a new lease on life. The upholstered seating and back is covered in solution dyed acrylic fabric (outdoor fabric and still nice to sit on!) so the chairs are ideal for a sunny space (less fading) and is hardwearing (great if you have kids). If you're interested, make sure you pop into Minty & Co and check them out.

The limited edition screen- printed fabric is by Melbourne designer, Shannon Lamden and they are available in the following colour combinations - grey on white or red on natural. The basecloth is a linen/cotton mix and the covers have piped edges with a hidden zip closures. 'His' and 'Hers' Pillowcases from Minty & Co.

All has been going well with Minty & Co! We are almost a month old and it started with a bang. Thanks for the great welcome and I have been enjoying meeting my Minty & Co customers over the last few weeks via emails, Facebook and Twitter.
Coming up over the next few weeks is a new group of pre-loved and re-born furniture as well as some gorgeous white candleholders from Sweden.
I really like our 'His' and 'Hers' pillowcases that we have at Minty & Co. They are a great wedding gift or a present for the couple that has everything (all ages!). These cotton pillowcases are 300 count thread - so they're great quality and finish off a nice crisp white bed.
